Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, CROs, or regulatory agencies with a focus on safety lab data solutions.
- Knowledge of the drug development process and data operations related to clinical trial data.
- Familiarity with CDISC standards is advantageous.
- Strong skills in communication, decision-making, negotiation, and project management.
- Experience with clinical data management and EDC systems (e.g., Oracle Clinical, Data Labs, Rave, InForm).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Understanding of laboratory data collection and testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, J Review).
- Background in hospital or clinical diagnostic laboratories.
Responsibilities
- Review lab slips and documents to establish new lab ID identifiers in EDC systems.
- Maintain lab IDs and update reference ranges in the database.
- Support local and central lab IDs for Pfizer studies.
- Handle textbook reference range requests and updates.
- Assist in lab code assignments for incoming lab data.
- Ensure compliance with lab-related SOP documents and guidelines.
- Guide study management and team members on reference range documentation and lab ID assignments.
- Support data managers with lab data discrepancies and reporting.
- Generate lab data listings and reports using Pfizer's tools and applications.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
